Absolutely friendly people, we ordered samosas, Palak paneer, butter chicken & butter naan. Food was absolutely delicious.. naan were super soft. We would love to visit it !! 5 stars for food, service and atmosphere!

We just had the most delicious food. We spent $41 and it was well worth it. We ended up soooo full that we needed to take out the rest of our food in a box. The flavor is just perfect. It's so home made, the portions are big. The owner is so nice and he was very patient with us.

As my family background from Pakistan, and after more than a decade in Freiberg, Frankfurt as well as other Parts of Germany and after tasting Pakistan Indian Food from different Restaurants, I want to give a Review that Honestly that at Rice & Spice you Feel the Taste of Home Made food in Indian Pakistani back ground families. The owner focus on cleaning as well as freshness, which consider very important.... The Taste is really good. Please do not forget to Taste Daal Sabji (Vegetables-Lentils Curry), Chicken Masla and Chicken Nihari Style. Then you will become the Mango Lassi, a Typical Drink from our origin. But nevertheless, Please Taste Pakora (Fritters) as well.... Some time I will request Owner to please Make Jalebi (Kind of Sweets widely sold street food). Please share your thought between Ideas if you would like to taste certain other dishes. Welcome again.

What a hidden gem we stumbled upon during a Sunday wander around Freiberg! We found the place open, though that is only due to the kindness, friendliness and wellcome of the owner who is also the chef. In fact they are closed on Sundays, but we had the privilege to still dine in. He explained the menu, advised on the options and ingredients. We had tasty samosa and cauliflower pokoras with salat appetizer which we enjoyed with the speed of light. It is exactly what you need on a cold sunny Sunday. Our main meal was butter chicken and Hawaiian chicken curry with salat in the side and fresh naan. What a treat that was! It is the first time I saw Hawaiian chicken curry anywhere on the menu and it was an interesting and delicious combo actually it surprised me. The butter chicken was smooth and tender also fresh and delicious. You could feel the harmonious blend of spices in the dishes without it being sharply spicy. That was a perfect blend. The portions are great, it is as if you are behaving a whole dish, restaurant like, yet very reasonably priced. The garlic naan was dreamy, so soft yet crunchy just hot out of the oven. In the end we enjoyed some chai, just perfect, not too sweet, just the right blend to power us through the day. The owner was always so attentive to seek feedback, clear our table, offer and accommodate anything needed and even share some with us of the dishes he was preparing just to try it out. He was always very enthusiastic and upbeat which made our day too. We can't recommend it enough. Such a soulful and delicious place, we will be back again to Freiberg to try out more of your dishes.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So so delicious. It was ready very quick and the worker (I forgot his name) was super friendly and customer service is top-tier. The butter chicken is wonderful. 10/10 recommend!

Me and my wife visited Freiberg for 2 days and on both the days we had our dinner at Rice and Spice. I would highly recommend their Chicken butter masala along with their homemade naan bread. We also ordered Egg biryani on both the days and it was really good. This place is a hidden gem and the owners are really nice as well.
